Main gearboxes of "kamov" helicopters
The gearboxes VR-252, VR-226N are designed for installation on coaxial helicopters.
The purpose is to transfer power from two engines ТV3-117VМ/VМА (VR-252), AI-450, Allison, Arrius (VR-226N) to two coaxial rotors and helicopter accessory with the corresponding change of the rotation speed.
The main gearbox circuit is fixed-ratio, planetary (VR-252) and multi-flow (VR-226N).
